Heather and Dave Desmarais and their Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 and 140
hit Fox Lake on Friday June 4. Dave got to try out his new Bula 5wt. fly rod
just purchased from Headwaters to Ocean Troutfitters (thanks Steve). Very
large grayling were surfacing at the south end of the lake around 8:00 pm.
We were using #16 black ant patterns and # 16 black humpies. We fished until
11:00 and Heather caught the biggest (17inches) the first and the most –
way to go H. We even took two home for the frying pan.
