Fishing from the Kayak this past weekend Heather caught (and released) 9
nice 1.5-2lb lake trout from Little Fox Lake. She was using light line and a
#2 vibrax spinner - fish the shallows - the trout there were eating caddis
off the bottom. We found a very productive “saddle” and had a blast!
Fish Lake report
I can no longer call it NO Fish Lake as my dry spell on this beautiful but
cruel lake has ended. Again the trout are shallow 2-7 feet suspended in
10-18 feet of water.
Trolling from the Yak.
Thanks to Doug K. I have started trolling to my fishing spots and have been
picking up some great accidental fish by doing so. Why just paddle when you
can fish?
