Just returned from Fish Lake. There’s ~5” of clear blue ice near the boat launch and causeway, though I didn’t check more further out than about 100m from shore. Be careful of the ice around the outflow - there’s current there, which prevents good ice from forming.

Checked out Scout Lake on Friday evening. It had ~2” of clear blue ice - nominally enough to walk on, but I wasn’t happy to try it out for long. I’ll give Scout another few cold nights before fishing there.

Scout’s up to ~6” of ice today, a couple of inches of bubbly stuff over top of 4” of clear blue ice. Didn’t manage to get any fish, though…

Checked out lakes around the Junction this weekend. Dezadeash has ~10” of clear blue ice (at least near shore), Pine has ~1.5” (not enough for me!) and Kathleen is still wide open.

10-12” of good ice on Pine now, and with next to no snow on the lake and temps in the minus 40s, that ice is going to get thick fast.

To save folks the trip - a friend returned from a trip down to Atlin Lake on Saturday, and it’s near wide open, with only a shelf of ice along shore. This warmer weather isn’t going to help, either.
