Whitehorse Fishway Visitor Appreciation Night August 15th (from YFGA)

Next Tuesday evening, August 15th, the Yukon Fish and Game Association will be hosting a Visitor Appreciation Night for the Whitehorse Fishway. It will be held at the facility in Riverdale from 5-9pm. Everyone is welcome and there will be door prizes, cake and lots of fun for the entire family. Please mark it on you calendar and plan on stopping by!

Events on the agenda:

- see the chinook salmon travel through the ladder and learn about their incredible journey from the Bering Sea

- watch broodstock being collected for the next generation of salmon

- listen to elders’ stories in our First Nations tent

- have fun with interactive kids’ games

- lots of great door prizes

- free cake and refreshments
