Tips and Tactics for Large Lake Trout on Large Yukon Lakes

As you may know, there are some exceptional, world-class lodges in Yukon. If you follow fishonyukon.com, you will know that Brian from Kluane Wilderness Lodge sends reports throughout the summer season. I have a few of them linked here.
As you can imagine for some visitors, fishing in the Yukon is a dream come true. I recently came across this trip report from a regular client of Kluane Wilderness Lodge. It is very detailed and provides some great insight into tips and tactics used in some of these large Yukon lakes by professional guides.
Remember that when targeting these large lake trout, treat your elders with respect. They are very, very, old and are still spawning contributing to the genetic stock for future lake trout. Make sure to check the regulations and practice responsible angling.
