Boat ramp on Little Atlin Lake to be removed and not replaced?

I received an email stating that the boat ramp at Little Atlin Lake was going to be removed by Highways and Public Works, Government of Yukon as part of their road work in the area. Unfortunately, I heard that there were no plans to re-install or re-locate it. I have not been able to confirm this myself yet. This would be unfortunate, as this lake produced great Pike fishing (as well as Lake Trout). If anyone knows anything about this, let me know.

Dennis here…Since the writing of this initial entry, one reader with inside information has confirmed that HPW will be removing and then replacing the dock, “even better than before”. Thanks, readers for being on top of it.
